The American Board of Forensic Psychology (ABFP) (www.abfp.com) is a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). This board certification follows an extensive continuing education and rigorous examination process, with a historic failure rate of 40% at the culminating oral exam.  This credential is intended to signify the highest levels of expertise and practice in forensic psychology.  Approximately 250 psychologists in the United States currently hold this distinction.

The American Board of Clinical Psychology (ABCP) is a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
