Forensic Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) (www.abpp.org)

The American Board of Forensic Psychology (ABFP) (www.abfp.com) is a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). This board certification follows an extensive continuing education and rigorous examination process, with a historic failure rate of 40% at the culminating oral exam.  This credential is intended to signify the highest levels of expertise and practice in forensic psychology.  Approximately 250 psychologists in the United States currently hold this distinction.

Clinical Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)

The American Board of Clinical Psychology (ABCP) is a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Board certification in Clinical Psychology reflects an advanced level of practice that is discriminately higher than the basic level of competence certified by state licensure.  Approximately 1450 psychologists in North America currently hold this distinction.
