Mark D. Cunningham, Ph.D., ABPP Mark D. Cunningham, Ph.D., ABPP is a clinical and forensic psychologist by profession and an award-winning researcher by avocation. Though his offices are in the greater Dallas area, his practice in civil and criminal cases is national in scope. He has provided consultation and/or testimony in state or federal litigation in 42 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Dr. Cunningham is licensed as a psychologist in 16 states.* He is board certified in Clinical Psychology and in Forensic Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
The author of numerous scholarly publications, Dr. Cunningham serves on the editorial board of the journal Assessment and is an ad hoc reviewer for several other respected peer-reviewed journals. A groundbreaking researcher and prolific scholar, Dr. Cunningham was recognized with the 2006 American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Contributions to Research in Public Policy, the2005 Texas Psychological Association Award for Outstanding Contribution to Science, the 2004 John Augustus Award from the National Association of Sentencing Advocates, and in 2007 he was named a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.

In addition to being Dr. Cunningham’s partner in marriage and life for the past 35 years, Melinda Cunningham has enjoyed successful careers as a dental hygienist, professional photographer, non-profit organization Executive Director, and mother of three. Currently, she owns and operates a professional legal videography service (www.accesslegalvideo.com) while also offering her support to her husband’s practice. Melinda is a member of the American Guild of Court Videographers (www.agcv.com), the National Alliance of Sentencing Advocates and Mitigation Specialists (www.nasams.org), and the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (www.nlada.org), as well as an associate member of the National Court Reporters Association (www.ncraonline.org). She frequently volunteers on the teaching faculties of some of these organizations.

A seasoned administrator with experience in legal, marketing and entertainment environments, Jennifer oversees case management, scheduling, travel planning and general office management for the practice, while maintaining a firm focus on practice commitments and goals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from the College of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, NM and an ABA Approved Graduate Certification in Paralegal Studies from Southeastern Career Institute in Dallas, TX. As a mother of an active toddler, Jennifer balances her time between the law, theatre and child education.
